One that is about to happen is an evening visit from our new Associate Dean, Margaret Jablonski. She will be joining us for dessert in the TFL at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 23. Good food will be served and you will have a chance to meet her and raise any questions of interest. She is Jim Tewhey's replacement, in case you are one of the few who did not know it.
You will be interested to know that your efforts at raising funds from MacGregor alumni have been successful again, so there will be a kitty for new house purchases. Let your house officers and entry chairs know your ideas for spending the money.
Most of our house tutors will be returning next year, but B entry will be recruiting a replacement for Lisa (not an easy task!)
We are pleased that so many of you continue to be interested in house government, which is working well once again. Congratulations to all of you who were elected or appointed to positions. Please don't be shy in letting us know if there are ways in which we can help you be more effective in getting things done. Finally, we would like to remind all of you that we are here to help. If you have an emergency and you need your professors to be notified, if you have a problem too large for the usual means of resolution, or if you want simply to discuss life here or your future plans, our door is always open. We hope to hear from more of you.
Stephen J. Lippard, Housemaster
