Subject: RAID application

--------

				RAID

SHIELD just wiped out a minor SWORD base and set it to self destruct.
There are two hours left on the self-destruct countdown, and the
SHIELD team has just cleared out of the area.

You are a strike team for a minor terrorist organization with big
dreams hoping to salvage some of SWORD's technology. You'll need to
recover at least a dozen tech widgets to make this a successful
mission -- fewer if you can find matched sets, more if you lose
personnel. Live captured agents of other terrorist groups are also
of substantial value.

---

This is a SIK (society for interactive killing game) -- looting,
killing, and kidnapping, no good guys -- running from 3pm to 5pm on
the afternoon of Sunday, March 17th. The rules may be found at
http://web.mit.edu/~mikka/Game/Raid/rules.ps.

If you'd like to play, please read the rules, fill in the application
below, and return it to raid-gms@mit.edu. Applications received after
Tuesday, March 12th may or may not be dealt with at GM whim.

Name:
Email address:

Have you read the rules?

Do you have any questions about the rules? What are they?

With which terrorist organization(s) might you like your character to
be associated?

If you know, what type of weapon are you planning to bring into game?
How good are you with it?

Is there anyone you'd like to be teamed with? Teams may have up to
six members. Please indicate whether you're requesting a specific
team or naming some people you might like to work with. Pre-formed
teams are encouraged, as they save work for the lazy GM, but please
don't go overboard on building uber-teams, either, lest the GM feel
obliged to smite you.

Is there anyone you'd like not to be teamed with?

Do you have any preferences on team size, if you're leaving team
formation up to the GM?

Is there anything else that should be considered in casting you for
this game?
