Don't forget--our Apple Cider Party is this Saturday!

If you've already sent an RSVP, you don't need to send another one.
(There are more than 500 people on the invitation list, not including
any of the mailing lists we sent the invitation to, so rather than edit
out the people who have already sent RSVPs, it was a lot easier to just
send the reminder to the same list.)

As always, sorry if you get multiple copies.

---------------------------

Here, again, are the details.

Nancy Gilman and Jeff Bigler invite you to our tenth annual apple cider
party, our fifth wedding anniversary, and our daughter Margaret's
1.26th birthday party.

Feel free to bring guests and/or forward this invitation to people who
know us and who might be interested. (If we've left anyone out, it was
accidental.) However, please check with us before forwarding the
invitation to a large group or mailing list.

Important info:

  Date: Saturday, October 13, 2001.

Time: noon-midnight; pressing starts at 1:00pm sharp!

Location: 8 Little Nahant Rd., Nahant, Mass.

  Bring:
Food for potluck lunch or dinner. (Lunch items are particularly
appreciated if you'll be arriving before 3pm.)
Also, a towel if you want to use the hot tub.

  Allergies:
We have two indoor cats. Bring medication if you're allergic.
We don't allow smoking anywhere indoors, including the porch and
	garage.

  More Information about the party:
<http://www.mit.edu/~jcb/cider-party.html> This page has a lot
of useful information about the party, so please look at it if
        you're thinking of coming.

  Directions:
<http://www.mit.edu/~jcb/directions/> This is also linked from
        the party info page.

  Carpooling:
We'll coordinate carpools from in town (Boston) via the cider
party web page. Please let us know if you need a ride, or if
        you can provide one.

RSVP: Always appreciated, but if you don't get around to sending one,
don't let that stop you from coming. We'll send a reminder out
about a week before the party.

                                                Jeff, Nancy and Margaret

Note: We sent blind carbon copies of this message to all of our friends
for whom we have current email addresses, plus several email lists that
contain a significant number of friends of ours.

* If you got multiple copies, that means we're on some of the same email
  lists. Consider yourself multiply invited.

* If you live outside the Boston area, we assume you're not coming
(unless we hear otherwise), but we want you to know that you're still
invited. In lieu of an RSVP, feel free to drop us a line and let us
  know how you're doing.

* If you don't know us, or don't know why you got this invitation, it
was probably BCC'ed to a mailing list that you're on. You're still
invited, and there will most likely be people you know there.

* Story readers: we sent a copy to mondays because Jeff knows quite a few
of the people in the community even though he's not on the list.

* If you're wondering "When are these people going to stop sending email
about their party?", rest assured that this will be the last message.
