WARNING this directory is not done yet!!! To build the installer: smake init smake smake install The mk-images script uses /sbin/lomount to mount and unmount filesystems. Source is located in the tools directory; it must be installed setuid 0 in order to be useful. This simple tool allows a user to use the loopback device to mount a filesystem image on a directory, so long as he owns both. The options are forced to nodev, noexec, nosuid, to prevent trouble. To unmount, simply invoke lomount with only the image filename. In order to avoid having to run as root, mk-images also uses a modified version of syslinux that knows how to run lomount. The source for syslinux can be obtained from http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/ In addition, you will need to have a variety of RPM's installed that may not be installed on normal machines. A list should appear here someday.
