hi --

i have tried (with a debatable amount of success) to summarize what we were
talking about thursday afternoon....

my summary resulted in a 4 page maker document (/mit/musedev/doc/AM2/DS/aybee/
media_model.fm). i have slipped a copy of it under the door of each of your
offices.

please feel free to read, comment upon, and criticize it to all hell
it is way rough and confused and i know it....have fun
