Netscape mail is now supported as an email client, when used with the
IMAP protocol with SSL support. For information on configuring it, you

Previously, the only way to check your Athena mail from Netscape was
using netscape-movemail. That method had always been unsupported as
many people had experienced corruption and lossage of their email,
especially when near quota. If you are still using netscape movemail,
then you should switch to using Netscape with IMAP/SSL as indicated in
the URL above. If you are using netscape-movemail, then your email will
appear in folders in the "Local Folders" section, instead of a folder
under under "poxx.mit.edu" replacing "poxx.mit.edu" with your actual
po server.
