PRODUCT AND TECHNOLOGY RELEASES SOFTWARE. The following Java
platform software and technology releases are now available
for download:

o J2EE Client Access Services COM Bridge
The Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition Client Access
Services (J2EE CAS) COM Bridge lets Windows developers
create native client applications that access Enterprise
JavaBeansTM (EJBTM) components deployed on a Java 2
  Platform, Enterprise Edition application server.

  http://java.sun.com/jdc/earlyAccess/j2eecas/download-com-bridge.html

o JDBC(tm) API Test Suite 1.2.1a
The JDBC(tm) API test suite contains tests useful for testing
a driver based on JDBC technology ("JDBC driver") for it's
conformance to the requirements of the Java(tm) 2 Platform
Enterprise Edition (J2EE(tm)). This test suite is intended to
assist driver vendors in preparing their drivers for
certification in a J2EE compatible configuration using the
  J2EE Compatibility Test Suite.

  http://java.sun.com/products/jdbc/download.html#jdbctestsuite

o JAIN(tm) MGCP API Specification 1.0a First Public Release
The JAIN MGCP Specification defines an API which allows for the
rapid creation and deployment of dynamic telephony services into
  a Java telephony platform.

  http://jcp.org/aboutJava/communityprocess/first/jsr023/index.html

o Java(tm) API for XML Messaging (JAXM) 0.92 Specification
This version of the JAXM specification includes the notion of
messaging Profiles. The intent is to establish a foundation for
supporting a family of higher level standards-based messaging
protocols. An example of a Profile would be the W3C's XMLP
layered on JAXM. Consequently, Java technology developers
using JAXM will have pluggable XML messaging capabilities.

  http://java.sun.com/xml/xml_jaxm.html

o JSR 43 Java Telephony API (JTAPI) 1.4 Specification
JTAPI 1.4 extends and enhances the current JTAPI specification.
  It will:
  * Introduce Listener interfaces in the callcontrol, callcenter
and phone packages following the pattern defined for the core
package, providing a consistent event delivery mechanism for
    these important application areas.
  * Entend the media package with many new interfaces to support
the functionality of the ECTF media services architecture.
