JINI(tm) SYSTEMS SOFTWARE 1.0 PRODUCT SITE ON THE JDC.  Sun's Jini
technology provides mechanisms for hardware devices or software components
called services, to automatically join together on a network.  Underneath
the Jini services architecture is a fully functional distributed computing
platform built on the Java(tm) language.

The JDC provides a central location for accessing and downloading Jini(tm)
