New first copies of books may be on the New Books shelf rather than
with the rest of their category.  Monthly catalog supplements of new
first copies are kept at the New Books shelf for a year.

The \texttt{CODE} column entries look like \texttt{(code):(multiplicity)},
or just \texttt{(code)} if we've only one.
