On launching the help system, firefox may open an extraneous empty window in addition to the ones containing the help information- this can be ignored. We don't use the database interface functionality and commands that depend on this may not work. The user is given a default set of configuration files from templates if these are not found. A default printer is set to a generic "PostScript Level 1" and "PostScript Level 2" printer. users can configure additional ones from a menu list with many choices, as well as other graphics device drivers. The config file directory for this release is set to sasuser.v94 If you are encountering unexplained SAS crashes when you attempt to launch it, try renaming you ~/sasuser.v94 directory to something else; corrupted files in that directory can prevent SAS from launching correctly.
