Objective:	A position where I can both learn more about computers and work
		a reasonable number of hours per week.


Education:	Massachusetts Institute of Technology		  1994--present
		As I am a freshman, I have yet to complete classes, and thus do
		not have an academic record at MIT.

		Extracurricular activities at MIT include membership on the 
		men's gymnastics team, and prospective membership on the
		Student Information Processing Board (SIPB), a student group
		that encourages the use of computers by students on campus.

Experience:	Jet Propulsion Laboratory			   Pasadena, CA
		Technical Hire				     June 1993--present

		Research and study of Planetary Geology, performing digital
		image processing, manipulation, and measuring, on MicroVax and
		Sun Workstations.  Worked as assistant system manager on
		MicroVax and wrote/modified programs as needed.

		Private work for individuals, repairing, installing, and
		maintaining personal computers.  Custom programming of Windows
		Database under Paradox 4.5, shareware programming with C, C++,
		Turbo Pascal, and Turbo Assembler.

		General Hire		     December--January 1991, 1992, 1993

		Temporary hire at ski valley for winter rush, assisting in 
		impacted areas.

		Operated rollercoasters at local amusement park.


Honors and	Appointed USA Today All-American Academic Third Team,
Awards		June 1994.
		Awarded the National Council of Teachers of English
		Excellence in Writing Award, 1994.

		Self-taught knowledge of Unix, VMS, DOS, Windows, and OS/2
		machines.  Self-taught programming in C, C++, Pascal, Assembly
		for the 80x86, and Assembly for the PowerPC.

		Extensive exploration of the World Wibe Web, experience with 
		the Mosaic, Lynx, and Netscape (Mozilla) web-browsers, and
		creation of several homepages on the Web.
