Calvin,

   I've spoken with some of the AFS people at Athena, and the best I
can currently recommend is that you send mail to "afsreq", cc'ed to
"jis", and request either action or a response (be nice :-).  There
are some "internal problems" at Athena that are being worked on.  If
you don't get anything in another week or two, send me mail and I'll
bang harder on the appropriate people.
