If your article is reposted periodically, you might want to consider
cross-posting it to the *.answers newsgroups, which are meant to serve
as repositories for quick browsing and archiving of periodic postings.
News.answers and other *.answers newsgroups are a useful resource for
USENET users, and each new periodic posting that is cross-posted to
them makes them more useful.  Please consult the *.answers submission
guidelines (how to get this document is described below), as you will
need to go through a submission process to get the approval of the
*.answers moderators to cross-post into those moderated newsgroups.

  Even if you decide that you don't want to cross-post your postings
to the *.answers newsgroups, you might want to get an entry for your
posting in the "List of Periodic Informational Postings."  If you
respond to this message and let me know the Newsgroups, From and
Subject line you use when posting, as well as the frequency at which
you plan on posting it, I will add it to this list for you.

  In any case, you should try to use a consistent Subject line format
when posting your article.  This provides two advantages:

1. People who do not want to see it can easily use KILL files or
   other, similar mechanisms to avoid it, and

2. Automatic periodic posting archivers can archive it based on its
   Subject line.
