This code builds with gcc 2.7.1 under Ultrix, NetBSD, SunOS, Solaris,
and Linux.  To compile under Solaris, you have to uncomment the LIBS
line in the Makefile.

Configuration variables, such as the names for the log files and what
server and port to use, are in common.h.

This code is not secure, and should never be run as a privileged user.
