Preliminary Book Exchange Treasury Report I was thinking of making one big report, but then I'd have to wait until everything's done to tell you about it, and by that time, I may not remember everything. So I'm telling you the status as of 11/19/90. Day: Income: Monday $3411.75 Tuesday $3072.70 Wed. $1623.65 Thurs. $ 887.50 Friday $1886.00 ---------------- Total $10,861.60 Books sold: For people: $10,578.40 TCA: $245.25 MITSFS: $26.50 ---------------------- Total: $10,850.15 Difference in sold and income: $11.45 more in income This is after reimbursing people with missing books--a measure with which we are not obligated to comply. Twenty-two checks were mailed, late (and therefore, re-written) because I had planned to allow those people to come to pick up their checks (with the 25 cents) for a while, when, not too long ago, I was told this was a bad idea. There is one check remaining for which the person did not indicate whether to pick up the check or to have it mailed; all those who opted to pick up their check have been contacted, and two checks are remaining. I am still trying to figure out a few discrepancies, especially between the bank statements and the checkbook. I recently received the September-October bank statement, but I have not received the August-September bank statement. I will look around APO before contacting Cambridge Trust on this matter. It seems that the past few times we tried to donate to RIF, nothing happened. The check was never deposited. I don't know where it failed, but RIF has a lot of money coming to it this time--I'm not sure how much until I figure out the discrepancies in the checkbook. That's all for now. I have to go to my 9:00 class. Bye! Kevin Iga Da Book Xchange Trezhurah
