Pushed to old-EC meeting to approve: Approved. Office Report: SIPB now has a recycle bin for white paper. Yay! The office is a pit. Worse than normal. Lots of trays. If you bring food from Lobdell to the office, remember to take it with you when you leave. There is now a tray cart by the elevator. New carpeting on the fifth floor here... the black cabinet outside the office died. It never really did much. What should we do with? We did not pay for it. There's no place for it in the office. Make it disappear. Athena Report: Since 7.1 hit the clusters, old emacs processes have been hanging around. Seems to be a bug; there will be a fix in January. Maybe we could put a setuid program in the SIPB locker which would clear out (reap) old processes. Computer Services: Bill-the-Cat is dead. Athena is lame. No RT parts? PC support should deal. No official operations people have looked at it yet. Pmax memory increases in the near future. Offer from someone to provide us with an air filter for the floptical in exchange for access through the NeXT to the Internet. Amiga stuff hasn't been dealt with yet.
