Straw poll seems to indicate that it would be a kinda good idea to renew it. marc will deal. A/V charges $10.50 per day for using an overhead projector. It is agreed that we should use funny-money (through Kathy Allen) to pay for all such expenses. Chairman's Report: The "Wither SIPB?" committee should meet soon, hopefully during IAP. amgreene is willing to help out if bjaspan gets lazy. If you're interested let one of then know. Elections on February 4th. Be there! Office Report: Pitly. MIT Computing Report: 7.2 is up to revision p. Code freeze is today. Big fileservers going down for "Preventive Maintenance" sometime over the next few weeks. One day per server. Computer Services: Athena is doing inventory check. So cc called to just make sure that her list checked with what we actually had. It did, almost. Hotline claims that it removed a 40Meg, *NOT* a 70meg, drive from Steve-Dallas. They have no record of our having a 70Meg drive. Also, they said that if we had really had a 70Meg drive, they would have had to have changed the controller when they changed the drive. Also, cc thought that we had our PS/2 already. I told her that we didn't. dkk informs all of us clueless people that they had already delivered it; they put it in the machine room, where most of us never go. And no mail was sent out telling us our PS/2 was here. Anyway, it will be moved into the office after the meeting. Milo is running Kerberos, has a servtab, has AFS... it's actually working.
