He'll do it, and get reimbursed. We'll get a distribution disk and a manual to fight off the lawyers. Chairman's Report: dcctdw and web exchange insults. Ok. Chairman is injured in the leg. That means he can't chase you as fast. Prospective introduction. jik proposes that they stand on their heads. Move to have prospectives stand on jik's head. Seconded. Note that autumn showed enthusiasm for getting on jik's head. Office Report: jcb took the CD and tape players to get fixed. milo is sort of working and reinstalled. It includes most stuff, not hesiod and kerberos. (ie, local accounts needed to log in) We will install the X11R5 RT server from John Carr on all of our RT's. MIT Computing Report: Do we want to remove sipb from athena-outages, and add sipb-staff? Yes. marc will deal. Computer Services: cutter-john has a video card capable of 1024x768x8bit greyscale. If we could, in fact, find memory for it, would the SIPB want to spend $80 on it? Is anybody going to use it? We should find out how much it will cost, then come back to it. bjaspan and sidlives are looking into it. peace recommends Alex Sungaroff of Impediment Inc. for good prices. AUX is getting blown away from the mac by mlbarrow. He's installing System 7, but we can still use system 6 off the internal drive. xscreensaver has been reinstalled with a button to log the user out. bjaspan complains that it shouldn't have been reinstalled and released so quickly. jik says, yeah, I screwed up. The logging data March 12, 3pm, meeting scheduled with AA re: alum accounts. Talk to marc or warlord. The SIPB locker is full. web and marc marked some things for deletion, and actually deleted other things. One possible solution is to symlink "non-critical" things from the athena locker to the sipb locker (such as mboggle). We need to be careful about removing things from the sipb locker because they're on athena packs. New version of GNUS installed in the SIPB locker. mboggle (server) is being moved back to charon from snork. new binaries to use hesiod for sloc and service info. The Guest Account termination notices will be sent out Real Soon Now (RSN(tm)). Accounts will expire in September unless they provide a reason they're FTGOS SIPB AFS Cell Backup Report (was "Ronald-Ann Backup Report"): Done.
