We are currently short a shelf, and binkley will go back on top. mycroft: I've noticed that people have a tendency to leave themselves logged in and go away and hope that nobody logs them out. This is extremely rude. Please don't do this. jhawk: In the bookshelf move, binkley has been temporarily disabled. This will be fixed? [Yes] sit (via foley): Knuth volume 2 must be lost, it hasn't shown up yet. Move to allocate $70 to purchase? jhawk: We don't have volume 3, maybe we should get both? Tape swapping didn't happen like it should have. foley: The normal services didn't get done, working out plans. Publications Report: jhawk: We appear to be short on NetBSD 1-sheet, and out of Athena reference cards. I will deal with ref-cards. ghudson: There is a new 1-sheet, I'll print some up. cordelia: We might suggest mh-e information be added to the reference cards. sit (via foley): We have 50 iAFS and 50 iLinux-Athena, this should last a while. R/O Report: jhawk: (For elliot) Move to allocate up to $100 for the Internet class. Renting of a video projector, and making overheads. White ballot, motion passes. IAP Report: nygren: The Liunux class happened, 35-40 people showed up both days. We had trouble with the projector the first day. tlyu: Postscript class happened, 40-50 people showed up the first day, and there were 20-30 by the last. CokeComm Report: jweiss: People should take down empty non-redeemables on Tuesdays, ask me how. warlord: People should restock the fridge. jhawk: We appear to be running low on spare flats. aurora: Put empty cans in the back, and empty them first! Other: cordelia: The Air Force just created 6 battle labs. One is dedicated solely to information warfare. jhawk: kretch seems to have taken over some maintenance for the Sun OpenBOOT PROM ps and kill scripts and has ported them to Solaris 2.4. aurora: I have at least temporarily taken over for Sharon Belville and am writing tech documentation for Athena. danw: I hope to get a beta version of the new nawm out sometime over IAP. If you care, add yourself to the nawm-users mailing list. warlord: I have fixed a bug that should help fix the AFS cache consisitency problem. It is installed on Lime, people should bash on it.
