Chairman's Report: Office Report: mycroft: The office is a pit. jhawk: Plant came at 8:30 and determined there are a number of A/C problems in the office. (Blah blah blah, see earlier mail to sipb-staff.) They're going to come at around 10 tomorrow to clean out the unit behind the stereo. It's a lot cooler in the office now. marc: Yay! jhawk: On Friday, around 11, snork's hd1 failed mkgray: What are those shelves in the back of the office? ghudson: They're ours. They're for the machine room. They should go back under the couch. jhawk: The CD player and shelving should be moved before PP comes back tomorrow morning. elliot: I'm thinking of installing IPv6 patches on one of the suns in the office. If you're concerned/interested, tell me. bert: How will this affect the machine? elliot: It shouldn't. nocturne: I would like to create attach.conf entries on the HP so that if you "attach sipb" you get sipb-old since the new one has no HP binaries. srz: Have you sent mail to bug-sipb? nocturne: I just assumed they didn't want to support it any more. MIT Computing Report: ghudson: The public 8.1 release might slip a week (from two to three weeks from today) because of a flaw in the update system.
