The contents will be auctioned off by jemorris tonight, trashed or reused or given to the Salvation Army or whatever. mycroft: There is more crap in the back of the office. gisele: I spoke with Maria (the cleaning lady) and Rose; Rose has asked Maria to empty the trash, vacuum, and dust computers. If she wants to dust around you, move and let her. Keep the office clean! eichin: I brought in a catalog with a radio clock, as per last week's discussion. It'll be here for people to look at. marc: I have a catalog with cable ties/clamps/labels and so on. marc and fastcart are in each other's chairs. Office Cleaning Report: elliot: Was anyone here on friday? What happened? [office mumble]: It got cleaned. nygren: We have magnetic perl fridge poetry. MIT Computing Report: sepherke: Are we getting a NT box? elliot: Nobody's really sure. There is confusion in E40. sepherke: small-gods has been broken a lot. Linux users have been losing. Maybe some other machine should back up or take over the service. jhawk: Talk to linux-dev to talk to ghudson. kcr: zlog locker moved off of small-gods to sweet-transvestite. Computer Services: jhawk: NECX sucks. Replacement AFS disks hasn't arrrived; the Ultra 60 that was ordered in April hasn't arrived. MIT Purchasing also sucks. kcr: [The disks stacked on and next to the ultra 60] should move out of the office. jhawk: They will. I didn't want to move them before last weekend's power outage. mhpower: I sent mail to charon-maintainers: We're getting the hostname charon2 for the new charon. jhawk: I want to measure current of anything new we're putting in the machine room, for UPS budgeting purposes. SIPB Backup Report: foley: UFS backups happened on time. I'll get unlame to do the backup software upgrade. yonah: kretch started the AFS backup before the power outage; don't know if he restarted it afterwards. jhawk: Don't do that this week. Other Other: xiphmont: We (FastEngines) are looking to hire NT or Unix systems development people; also looking to hire some people for the summer, even though it's late. foley: Ham test this Wednesday; Swapfest Sunday. mycroft: I'm pushing NetBSD 1.3.2 CDs.
