Office Report: jweiss: please talk to me real soon now if you left something on the coatrack over the summer and it's disappeared, because it'll be going away for good. tibbetts: i don't know whether the pismere machine is on its way yet or not... jweiss: multics will be ugraded to 9.1 soon. dbj: do we have excel for the mac? dbj: we need an rs232 bob and a stethoscope.... ok, i'll separate the motion... MIT Computing Report: jweiss: there'll be a patch release for 9.0 and 9.1 tonight to shore up a security vulnerability. nim: mozilla will be a default browser Computer Services: keithw: the access to music project is just about done. tibbetts: are you going to have a cocktail party? that's what the music industry does... keithw: really? maybe we should invite them... keithw: our contracts with have expired, which makes this problematic. jweiss: if you want money out of the machine room budget, you MUST say something by this Fri int18: sipb-debian is almost ready. we have to decide how to generate the CD's. copytech charges $2/CD plus $45/hour labor. other options? nim: i believe it's $500-$1000 hartmans: i suspect the volume for commercial cd pressing is way to high. we're going to want to change it when we find bugs... we could just distribute the job over sipb members... : mozilla takes forever to start... jweiss: it's pulled over afs.
