We are also planning a separate key-signing party, but it's not scheduled yet. mcyoung: IAP is sooner than you think, and so we're organizing SIPB IAP. If anyone has anything you want to teach, email me or sipb-iap@mit.edu. jakobw: There will be a LAMP decommissioning party at 7pm in 20 Chimneys on October 11. hcope: I was in charge of SIPB Publicity, but we need a new person in charge of this. If you're interested in publicity, especially if you're a prospective, let me know. dukhovni: LibrePlanet is happening! I'm meeting people from FSF tomorrow, and am getting room reservations. Also, SIPB Movies is a thing! hcope: I want us to do a monthly hackathon. If you're interested in attending or organizing, let me know. pravinas: SIPB Computer Tours occurred successfully last week; about 20 or 30 people showed up. Stories lasted until about 10:30; there were also around 30-40 people at stories. Also, if you're interested in VR, this weekend there will be a "Reality Virtually" hackathon at the Media Lab. Other: '() Other Other: dukhovni: ikdc and I are still developing our cryptographic dating project, the SENPAI protocol. We might want to do a large-scale test eventually, and will probably email SIPB about this. bpchen: How does the doorpi work? slz: I fixed it, the wires were loose. bbaren: How would people feel about having a chromebook, so people with gmail accounts but not Athena accounts could use a computer? achernya: I think a chromebox would be better so it would be an officehead. vahle: What are the chances that this ends up like the blackberry tablet? bbaren: Worst case is that it sits behind an officehead, which is less bad than sitting in a drawer. dzaefn: It's October.
