Also a general hackathon will happen. We've got a lot of little projects that could use a bit of work, especially people looking for something to work on, so I'm thinking of running a general hackathon for working on SIPB projects. If you're interested, especially in organizing, talk to me mcyoung: There's a lot of things you could do in the span of a day, that are ideas that've been floating around. Have you seen the SIPB shirts? *shows SIPB shirts* It's nice and angular and doesn't require a special script to generate. The fuzz on the original is canonical and written in postscript. I think there's also a big black circle in the middle to make things work out. foner: Is there C in the file to make it always the same? mcyoung: I think it's just postscript dukhovni: A lot of people in Massachusetts called their senators and got an amendment on a bill to expand surveillance struck down Other Other: dukhovni: Steven Universe is sooner than you think! ddh: Mr Robot is coming out too mcyoung: Dirk Gently season 2 is happening *many people say yesssss* dzaefn: Tomorrow is Halloween and I'm looking forward to dwilson's costume. Second, along the esplanade, there seems to be a new pedestrian crossing under construction. Among its interesting features is that one of the new pillars appears to be right in the middle of the bike lane khaines: Cheap candy day tomorrow mcyoung: It's cheap candy day every day at MIT khaines: Not to the same extent foner: If you're not one of the 7000 people who got vaccinated, go get your flu shot mcyoung: [to Cel] You're not a medical professional, you're a crazed programmer with blue hair foner: I wouldn't say it's blue cela: Teal is a variant of blue mcyoung: [to ikdc] Why are you holding a stapler? ikdc: I like it *Cel holds up pen threateningly* The meeting was adjourned at 19:51.
