Newest letter is on the board. We are reading it now, but I am not transcribing. We decide to send the new letter. Acting chairperson's report (RK) Call the person on the board & call Bartlett about the spinwronger (alignment sucks). Office report. our mail got delivered to us. will wonders never cease. Computer services report. Unix is now booted on the 370 (last time it didn't work). JIS will set up an account named SIPB. See him for password. Arpanet mail is now going to the 370. stay tooned for further lossage. Telecommunications report. We should check to see that our phones got installed at the midway, otherwise we are scrod by the telco strike. RK called Bromley. we should wait 2 weeks and then get pissed off and do something. Publications report. KAM picked up the NETS & NUMS from bean. Read her 2 new 1 page handouts for users that have to get some text editing done in ten minutes.
