The current one belongs to amu and will disappear soon. I move to allocate $100 for it. [tibbetts allocation: $100 for drive; fyfer will deal] tibbetts: We should buy an updated version of the X reference manual. jhawk: Can we not print it out? tibbetts: But then we wouldn't have a bound version. jhawk: Copytech can bind it. tibbetts: I move to allocate $100 to buy a book. jhawk: I think it's dumb to buy the obsolete book when you can buy a new version. tibbetts: I want to get the newest version. fyfer: Do we have money in this year's budget? jweiss: I think we're ok. [tibbetts allocation: $100 for book] tibbetts: I think we should spend $400 to get N-Design and Adobe Illustrator for the Mac. jhawk: It wuld be cool to have a vector drawing tool in the office that doesn't suck. Illustrator is such a tool. jhawk: Keep in mind that this is the last of our money for the year. hartmans: But we want to spend all of our money. [tibbetts allocation: $400 for software] jhawk: The keyboard extension cables arrived. They're in a box. I got straight and curly ones. alex_c: They're not good at preventing damage to the jacks on the back of the suns because you still need to pull it out to get the keyboard to work. tibbetts: Have you tried stop-A?
