Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of 06/28/2004


The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by jtu.

In attendance were

Treasurer's Report:
	arolfe: The fiscal year ends on Wednesday.  We spent
		close to all our money.
	arolfe: Move to rescind allocations that haven't been
		spent before this meeting.
		<2 yes, 2 no, 3 abstain, motion fails>.

Chairman's Report:
	jtu: "hi"

Office Report:
	arolfe: A past allocation for a $2k office head would
		probably have gone over this year's budget.
		Fortunately, it hasn't arrived yet.
	jtu: If you have feedback about chairmats, give it to jmorzins.

Office Cleaning Report:

MIT Computing Report:
	zoz: IST minicourses will be revamped.

Computer Services:
	arolfe: webmaster meeting after the meeting.

Publications Report:
	jhawk: we have iLatex with hand-drawn graphics.

Orientation Report:
	jtu: Allocate up to $500 for a howtogamit ad.
		<white ballot, passes>
	merolish: Ike and I stuffed envelopes for the freshman
		mailing.  The pizza was bad.

	jtu: There is a new cokecomm.
