If you want it, take it before the next meeting. glasglall: Additionally, I would like to propose we put Oliver, Yaz-Pistachio, and Death Toungue on reuse. As far as I know, they haven't been used in years. vasilvv: Yaz was used to try (and failed to) read a floppy drive. adehnert: Do I hear a second? lfaraone, vasilvv: second. adehnert: White ballot? dove: I object, but think we should vote, since these are office heads. glasgall: I'd There isn't anything special about these machines. Project Updates =============== dove:We are officially hostingish sponsoringish the GNU 30th Anniversary. Save the date, Saturday and Sunday September 28th and 29th, 10am to midnight. There will be keynotes by rms and others, and a hackathon. dvorak42: The 30th anniversary hackathon will focus on two important needs for free software in today's Web-based world: federated publishing and communication services, and tools to protect privacy and anonymity. dove: I'll be sending more info to sipb-announce shortly. vasilvv: Debathena git repos finally have hooks, by achernya. Almost everything except zepyhr notices work. vasilvv: Also, py-discuss is in debathena. Not sure when it will be built, but it will happen. Info has the same text also. afarell: In hthe realm of cleaning, there is a table at hte back that still has cruft on it, some belonging to SIPB members personally. glasgall: XVM still doesn't have a new switch. lfarell: What are we planning on doing with the "This chair sucks" chairs? dove: Reuse? lfarell: Are we going to replace them? code: We replaced most of the sucky chairs, but not all of them. lfaraone: Should we buy more? glasgall: Chairs are expensive, and it's only the beginning of term, and we've spent a fair chunk of our budget. adehnert: These chairs may still be prefeable to no chairs. tylu: Have we thought about getting folding chairs? Tehy would occupy less space but be deployable during meetings. lfaraone: There are several types, of various niceness. adehnert: CAC may be getting rid fo some. adehnert: If someone feels like doing research, they should come back next meeting with a proposal. lfaraone: perhaps not... adehnert: Does someone second the motion? cereslee: I second the motion to get rid of the chairs. glasgall: We may want them for now, since we've already run into seating issues.
