Minutes of the SIPB Meeting
		of March 25, 1985

	The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by DFM.
	
In attendance were

		TREASURER'S REPORT

The treasurer is at home for Spring Break.

		CHAIRMAN'S REPORT

The Chairman is at the dorm asleep.  He and DFM were up until 6 last night
writing proposals to Athena for the scribe server and student center modems,
and a document entitled "Whither the SIPB?".  The 9700 has no "?" in the font
we used for the title.

		OFFICE REPORT

Contrary to popular belief, the Mac has not been stolen.  It has gone to have
its hyperdrive installed.

		PUBLICATIONS REPORT

As of this afternoon we have "Modems for the Ringworld Cluster", "A Scribe
Server for Athena", and "Whither Goes the SIPB?" written, at least in
medium-draft form.  DFM has written a one-page example Scribe file (for new
Athena users) which (hopefully) demonstrates all the most useful commands.  He
thinks we should distribute this to people.  We should work on RF's conversion
of the NETS to Athena.
