		TREASURER'S REPORT

We are using far too much in the SIPBADMIN project....  Therefore, if you have
any extraneous files, punt them.  The weekly got punted because RAR didn't
know what to tell Ken, and Ken didn't know either, so he got rid of it.  The
weekly would say if we needed more storage.  Someone should look into fixing
this.

		CHAIRMAN'S REPORT

Amy Lee is supposed to be coming back today, but she isn't here.  Bill and
Carla went to a Tina Turner concert, $40 sweatshirt.	

                    ATHENA REPORT

The new Athena release is coming 8507.23. The motd was wrong today.  Cec is
going away.  Athena is lookking for on line consultants, so if you like, send
mail to oconsult.  Beth Anderson is married.
Beta version of 4.3 is running in the staff cluster.

		OFFICE REPORT

There are more plastic utensils in sipbcomm now, courtesy of Lobdell.  RK says
the xerox room has moved, but we all knew that already.

                    SOCIAL COMMITTEE REPORT

Sweatshirts arrived!!!  Carla is sending some out to Cal for those people who
moved.  Also, Peter's shirt came back, but it's still wrong: the pi is gone
altogether.

		COMPUTER SERVICES

The new prospective, Shahid, said that he needs computer time because he's new
and cannot get an Athena account yet.  He has however, done some good work and
stuff.

		TELECOMMUNICATIONS REPORT

We never got a modem to replace MacGregor's but we'll do it soon. 

		R/O REPORT

We sent the R/O letters out today.  Still no place for refreshments (try to
get 34-101) Cliff says go to Anne Hunter.  Course Secretary.  Bill wil talk to
win about phone lines for Activites midway. Cathy comes in now. She got her
hair cut.  The tour will be Wednesday Sept 4, Winn Treese said ok and Robin of
Next House siad the Room lottery will probably be in the weekend.  We can't
get the Bush rrom because it is reserved during the evenings.

		IAP REPORT

It is Not getting closer... RK and bcn are arguing about whether or not it
@i(really) is getting closer.  

		OTHER

Cliff: Vince is going to try getting up here this or the next month.
(Everybody says he has an SR-foobar, I wonder why?)  Everybody should send Aya
mail because she said she likes to get it.  Cathy's hair looks good, but she
has to mousse it.  

		OTHER OTHER

We're alegedly having a party for Amy, but she's not here.  Cathy sent wcs
mail about getting Amy's flight, etc, but she didn't get any...  "The show
wiil go on." -- Carla.
She did that ZZ Top legs song, there were videos, there was the Bruce
Springsteen song, "Dancing in the Dark", which was the highlight of the show
(as well as getting the best audience reaction).
