Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of September 23, 1985


	The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. by RF.
	
	In attendance were 
		Members: BCN, RF, WHBH, JTK, Peter, Irene, Nancy
		Prospectives: Bill Sommerfeld, Brad Parker
		
	Treasurer's Report:
                   
       Student MTD: $1920.52                  
       Student YTD: $9487.44

       SIPB/SIPBADMIN: $3238.56    WE SPENT $1885.57 LAST WEEK.
                      $14061.86    STUDENTS ONLY SPENT ABOUT $600.
         

	Chairman's Report: 

      The chairman is working on Xerox 9700 stuff and needs help.  

	Office Report:

      Someone left dirty silverware in the office. 
      CBF brought a serial card for the IBM PC.  Some brave person should try
to hook into Charon so we have four hardwired terminals.

	Athena Report:

      The 4.3 Kernel has been installed on Charon.  We can't compile it yet.
Gateways are crashing.  
      RF and Simson and Henry talked about UUS and fixed the problem.

	Computer Services:

      Could someone who knows how to do retrievals make a sign telling
everybody else how to do it?
