Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of November 4, 1985


	The meeting was called to order at 19:34 by WHBH. 
	
	In attendance were 
		Members: Carla, WHBH, Stan, Meilin, Bill Sommerfeld,
                             JTK, Tim, HNH, BCN, spook, Mark Lillibridge, 
                             Jim Reich, David Jedlinsky, Chun, RF, Aya,
                             Peter, Irene

	Treasurer's Report:

      Student Spending:  Month-to-date:   $764.84
                         Year-to-date: $14,815.10

      SIPB/SIPBADMIN Spending:    MTD:    $400.47
                                  YTD: $18,458.59

New Cokecomm list is up.  More soda is being ordered tomorrow.  Give your
special requests to Carla.

Fraternity sportswear is being ordered soon.  Sign up by Friday.

Would anyone be interested in going to Talbot House this winter?
We need a faculty member to go with us. [RF comes in.]

	Chairman's Report:

The chairman just woke up after falling asleep in Barker Library. 
He can't remember his report.

	Office Report:

Don't leave soda cans lying around.  
RF is working on getting new people keys to the office.  Key cards should be
available tomorrow.

	Athena Report:

Many LN01's (printers) are down, including the Athena staff LN01.

	Telecommunications Report:

The modem rack should come in 3 weeks.  Investigation of the faculty modem
rack was inconclusive.

	Publications Report:

The Scribe/9700 documentation has been picked up.  It has two typos.
Carla has drafted a new policy statement.  It is hanging in the office under
the stereo.  

	IAP Report:

They don't want to fund refreshments for RF's Hack tournament.  Darn.

	Other:

Athena graphics printing on the LN03's is really good stuff.  They don't do
text, though, which probably keeps them from going the way of the LN01's.

next meeting.
