Office Cleaning Report: MIT Computing Report: ike: Referring to jhawk's comments in Other Other, most clusters will be closed this week: "Due to scheduled campus electrical work taking place over the Christmas holiday, all Athena clusters except 1-142 and 56-129 will close on Wednesday, 12/24/2003 at 10am. Computer Services: golem: The treasurer of the ASA contacted me, and to make a long story short, the ASA gave away its office, and they want a place to put their computer. They thought the machine room is ours; it's not. However, we would like to come up with a solution for their problem if we can, and they are interested in the idea of creating a server room for student groups, which would be a good project. Anyone interested should contact me. Publications Report: Orientation Report: ocschwar: It's sooner than you think. IAP Report: ocschwar: It's sooner than anyone thinks. CokeComm Report: jhawk: CokeComm bought coke. Other: Other Other: jhawk: On December 26 and 27, MIT's two connections to NSTAR are being upgraded from 1200 A capacity to 2000 A capacity, representing an upgrade from 29 MW capacity to 48 MW capacity. Also, apparently MIT's cogeneration plant is regularly insufficent to meet the electrical demands of the MIT campus with its 20 MW limit. golem: Ho ho ho, public transportation sucks. ocschwar: /. has a frontend to match.com. The meeting was adjourned at 19:41. Minutes taken and submitted by merolish.
