Eric Swenson: Program for fraternity accounting (Theta Xi. He was "warned" about the reported mis-use of the terminal in his frat and said he would do whatever he could to halt it.). Program exists on another project (Trager.AutoProg) and will just be moved. Wants $60. Given. .ti -5 Treasurer's report: 370 spending is too low! Coke order has been made. Byte magazine has not been paid yet. Neither has LSC. .ti -5 Chairman's report: Annual report? It would be good to get off to a good start with our new contacts upstairs (Jean Bonney, Wes Burner). Should not be as extensive as previous reports. The new machine proposal should be carefully thought out. We may be giving "lessons" to IPS employees on Multics and related things. SAS and CRD may give lectures. .ti -5 Office report: Wall calendar mounted. P-plant may install our new light switches for us. The electrician already came by... Office door was "broken" and summarily fixed. We need DECwriter fuses. .ti -5 PDP-8/s report: It takes 2 hours (!) to warm up and loses words when you hit the table. We have new music hardware courtesy of KHG. .ti -5 370/168 & TSO: Dick Stetson is leaving (head of 370 programming group). This may set back MVS. .ti -5 WATFIV & PLUTO: A damped sine wave (GMR). .ti -5 Multics: Jean Bow and Elaine Ng are leaving 5/2/77. Moby crash (21 hours downtime) on Wed.. Very obscure things started happening. (GMP related the story in gory detail.) .ti -5 ECS: Complaints about the new obscurity connected with anonymous users loading registered users' files. It is being used. .ti -5 CS_: RMP did much conversing with JMB about CS. DTD said that they will be calling soon to get their terminal moved. We are putting stickers (ID type) on our terminals. .ti -5 Other: ID's haved arrived!!
