Minutes of the meeting of 2/13/78.

Meeting was called to order at 19:30.

In attendance:  DCH, CRD, KHG, LSP, DLW, RK,  RDM, RLL, CAH,
KLE, CWH, DAS, Alan, BEE, BSG, ACW, and archy.  RMP and OTA came in late.

Patrick, Mike:  $200 on the 370 to run an accounting program for TEP.  (OTA came
in at this point)  He says it would be very hard to move it to Multics.
Given $150 on the 370 to run it, and $75 to move it to Multics.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.  (RMP came in at this point)

Weather report:  Institute was closed from last Tuesday until yesterday due to snow.
GMP hacked CS all week (he was snowed in until Saturday night)

Chairman's report:  DCH did not see Victor Associates, but the meeting with
Mort Berlan has been re-scheduled for Friday.  The student chapter of the
ACM is meeting this Wednesday!

Multics report:  Multics was up all week (over five days).

CS report:  GMP got save/load working.  "for" and "do" have been changed to be only
repeat constructs.  "begin" and "end" now group statements.  Still needs
documentation and help stuff.  GMP got a big hand for his efforts (in abstentia).

APL report:  Paul Green worked on it all snowstorm.  Keep those bugs coming.

Telecommunications report:  We need 3 amp fuses.

Other:  We are ressurecting the Log Book!  Please record  all "official"
transactions in it (eg. giving boxes of paper, fuses, calling in terminals.).

By-Laws report:  The by-laws were changed to provide a mechanism for admitting
associate members.  EC vote was 6-0 in favor.  BSG, BEE, CBF, GMP, SAS, SEL
were nominated for associate membership.  Elections will be in two weeks.
Next weeks meeting was moved to 18:15 due to the silent movie.

Applications:  $265 autoed, $60 given, $325 total given.

WTBS:  $60 to continue printing out their log book.  Given.

Patrick, M.:  $200 for fraternity accounting.  Given.  (see User Interrupt)
