Minutes of the meeting of 3/13/78.

Meeting was called to order at 19:30.

In attendance: DCH, MLK, CAH, GMP, JLF, BSG, CWH, CBF, ALAN, RLL, BEE, DLW, BIM, LSP,LAL, KLE, and archy.
OTA, Paul, RK, HAG, and RMP were late.

O'Donnell:  $120 for continuation of learning Multics stuff (FORTRAN, PL/1, The Graphics
System, etc.).  Given $75.

Chairman's report:  DCH told Joe Connors about what happened at the
Victor meeting.  The travel time charges may finally be worked out.
The terminal proposal is not ready yet.

Multics report:  BSG has written a real real-time editor for Multics in
LISP.  Honeywell may support it!  VanVleck is going to Pheonix.  CAH suggested
that we try funding text processing sometime during the remainder
of the term.  It will be taken under serious consideration.  There are
now Multics tools for spelling correction.

Telecommunications report:  Random Hall terminal will be moved this week.

Elections:  Harry Gamerdinger is up for election.  Moon, CDT, JWD3, and NJD
are up for associate membership.  All were elected.  MJH was nominated for
associate membership.  Paul Heckbert was nominated for membership.  Election next week.
