(passed on 2010-10-11) I move that the EC create a new position of "Office Manager", which is filled by the Treasurer by default but may be held by a separate person as elected annually by the Board. The role of the Office Manager is to identify issues regarding the SIPB office that need to be fixed, such as the purchase of office supplies or books and the cleanliness of the office. For potentially controversial decisions, the Office Manager will email sipb-discussion and ask for comments on the issue, allowing a reasonable amount of time for discussion at the discretion of the Office Manager. Any conflicting views will be resolved over email at the discretion of the Office Manager.
