Here's one more mail you're getting from talking to SIPB at the
activities midway; it's something we thought you might find interesting.
I've realized that new prospectives don't know what SIPB computer tours
are, so I thought I'd send part of the standard blurb:

The tour is aimed at new MIT students, to give them an inside look at
the interesting uses of computers in various labs and groups around
campus. It's a good opportunity both for students to learn about what
sort of research is going on around campus, and for research groups to
attract potential UROPs.

The date we've scheduled for this year's tour is Thursday, September 10th,
which is during the first week of classes. The tours run from about 7
pm to 10 pm. Typically, we get enough people that we need to split
the tour into about three groups. Afterward, we have food and a guest
speaker.
