Hour test 1 posted

I just posted a copy of hour test 1 under "General" in materials, so that you can use it for the make-up (hand in with PS6).

You can now see your hour test scores on stellar.

The median on the test was 69.5, lower than I hoped. I will be giving
you a chance to make up the problems you missed (handed in with the next homework assignment for half of the credit you would have received on the exam). I will discuss this in class on Wednesday.

Scores on homework assignments can now be seen on stellar

I just learned that your homework scores were not visible on stellar and was able to fix this. Sorry not to have figured out that the default was no information until now. The solution to each homework assignment is posted with the scores in the gradebook module.

I will announce the median for the cumulative homework
and for the first hour test on Wednesday in class.

Office Hours before Exam 1

Dear Class,

I (Evgeni) will move my Office Hours from Tuesday next week to Sunday this week (October 15). Yichi and I will have together office hours from 4 to 6 pm in room 2-449.

Also, Prof. Jerison will have his usual OH on Friday after class.
