A description of the final oral project is now posted on the Homework page.  It consists of three debates (topics assigned by TA).  You will prepare for the debates in recitation Dec 6 and 7, and engage in the debates during the last class session, Tuesday, December 11, 3 - 4:30. Please take note of additional readings on your topic that we will post in the coming days.

Just to reiterate: in addition to drawing on material assigned for class reading, you need to cite five additional sources. These sources can be:

- Magazines
- Journals
- Newspapers
- Books
- Transcribed speeches

Please do not cite summarized material from websites like Wikipedia.

If you do choose to do extra research, you may want to start by using MIT's extensive access to online journals, magazines, and newspapers. (Again, this is not required and we would prefer that you spend your time developing a cogent argument rather than hunting for articles.)
