O.K. to Hand in Final Memo on Friday to SAM

All,

Sivan mentioned that a number of you have an econ final on Thursday, so it's O.K. if you hand in your Final Self-Evaluation memo on Friday.  Please put them in SAM's MAIL FOLDER at SLOAN because she will be reading them first.

Great presentations today!

Two Interesting articles

Hi All,

Coincidentally, two pieces about communication came to my attention today.  First, a new book called "Honest Signals" my Media Lab professor, Sandy Pentland, highlighted today on MIT's homepage.  You can read about the book at: http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2008/signals-1021.html.  Its thesis is that humans send and receive a host of nonverbal signals from one another, and those signals have enormous impact on how the communication is received.

Second, I received short reading on something called "Group Savvy," the ability to get a sense of how a group you are new to works.  I'm going to post that on the website under "Materials" in the class on "Teamwork."

Hope you find these interesting.
