Reminder - Assignment 3 Due On December 14

Dear E&I Class 2013,

A reminder that your final assignment for 15.360 is due to be handed in at the beginning class on Wednesday. Refer to the syllabus for further details. Please bring a hard-copy which will be collected by the TAs and passed to Prof. Roberts.

Remember also to complete our Feedback Survey by 11:59 pm on Sunday December 11 2011. The feedback you provide is valuable information to Pitchathon presenters considering whether or not to pursue new ideas, change direction etc.

SV study tour basics + Organizer meeting weds after dinner

Though the 15.360 proseminar is drawing to a close, we can start to get excited about planning the Silicon Valley trip.

Last week Jose, who did an amazing job planning the last few study tours, and I had a meeting to decide on the fundamentals of this year’s excursion.

Here are the basic details:
• Sunday 3/18: Arrive morning/midday, social event that evening.
• Monday & Tuesday: Company visits, Dean's Reception - exact itinerary TBA once more details finalized
• Wednesday: Morning visits, afternoon closing speaker, depart end of the day.

Vanessa and I will assemble an FAQ for the trip, but if you have a question before then, you can email her at vmarcoux@mit.edu.

Some of you have already asked to help organize the trip; we’re still looking for a few more, so if you’ve been mulling it over now is your last chance.

The benefits? You get to make sure the companies/investors you want to see are on the agenda, and have first priority in getting on the visit group before it fills up.

If you’d like to have a hand in pulling things together, after dinner we’re having a quick meeting in the Faculty Club, so stick around after open mic and we’ll add you to the team. If you’re interested and won’t be able to attend due to a conflict, or have any other questions, email me at rck@mit.edu.
