Test #2 and Schedule
Dear students,
Test #2 will be held on Wednesday, November 28th. The following topics will be covered: Biaxial bending, Beam column joints, Torsion, Yield lines, and Thin shells. Only the part that I will be covering today on thin shells will be tested on. We would like to start the test at 1pm sharp, so try to be present accordingly.
The schedule for the rest of the semester is as follows:
Monday, December 3rd - Discussion of Test #2 questions and Special Topic lecture on detection of damage in FRP-retrofitted concrete
Wednesday, December 5th - No class
Monday, December 10th - Final project presentations, please prepare up to 10 slides to be presented in 10 minutes. We may have to defer a couple of presentations to Wednesday, December 12th.
Your Homework #5 was due Wednesday November 21th, but I will accept homeworks up until before the test. All other homeworks have already been graded and returned to you.
Please note that there was a handout of yield line problems, handed out on Wednesday, November 21st.
I will hand out a sample Test #2 exam for self study.
