In-Class Exercise Reminder - Bring Computer!
Hey all,Just a quick reminder that you need your computer (excel) to solve (and access) the in-class exercise tomorrow (Tuesday). Please make sure your computers are charged as we may not have enough power outlets for everyone to charge their laptops during the session.
I will check my email in the morning for any last minute questions.
See you tomorrow!

Marketing Professors Love Feedback
Dear Students,I just wanted to urge you to make sure you complete the online subject evaluations at:
http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation
I realize that after pricing you have done an awful lot of surveys but you should know that I very much appreciate the time you take to fill these in and the ideas you have.
Best Wishes

See you on Class on Thursday
Dear Students,Thank you for all the pricing presentations. We have enjoyed them immensely.
This is just to remind you that we have our grand "finale" on Thursday and we will be meeting back together in E62-233.
In addition, if you or someone else is planning to make some key strategic decisions on the basis of a pricing project you are welcome to get detailed feedback by signing up for a slot at meetme.so/catherinetucker. If you can't find a slot let me know and I will add more where possible.
Finally, if you are worrying about the entirely optional and
open-book exercise on Tuesday next week why not check out previous
exercises that are posted on Stellar such as

to reassure yourself.

Do those surveys!
Hi Class,We have a little over half of the class participating in classmates surveys. These surveys are important for your classmates as many of them are going to start presenting this week. Please do them at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1n_NfC1X5_qS1MRe4MK1LxLhASN6eFBw4_LBtoBppg4w/edit#gid=0
Looking forward to seeing all of your presentations soon!

Group Presentations
Dear Students,We are looking forward to your group presentations over the next two and half weeks...
Just a few reminders:
- This should be an eight-minute presentation designed to
persuade the CMO/CFO in that industry that your project is helpful
to them.
- We will hear these presentations in Room E62-550.
- Be there for the entire time that your presentation slot is
scheduled for. Ask questions of your classmates. Do not play with
electronics. You do not have to attend classes where you are not
presenting.
- Upload your presentation to Stellar on the morning you present by
7:30am. Use a PDF to avoid strange powerpoint or keynote
issues.
- You should hand your two-page technical appendix to me at the
start of your presentation in paper form. The idea of this
technical appendix is to impress me by outlining the steps you took
and the data you used to reach your conclusions. It is not supposed
to be pretty or polished.
- Generally 5 slides work well for a presentation. One where you
explain what you are pricing, another where you explain the
methodology, another where you present results, another where you
go into the nuances of your analysis, and the final one where you
present your recommendations.
- Charlotte and John will be keeping strict time to make sure that
we have an opportunity for questions.
- You can wear whatever you want. I am always entertained by
costumes. One year some Sloan Fellows turned up in beachwear for
their Sunscreen pricing project which was very memorable.
See you back together on December 4th for our final class together.
Best Wishes
