Institute for Defense Analyses - Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI)

Hey folks,

In addition to the summer program Charles talked about yesterday, here's a Washington summer program for those of you interested in the intersection of tech and policy:

The Institute for Defense Analyses - Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI) is seeking graduate students and undergraduates who are rising seniors to apply for the summer associate program.

STPI, located in Washington, D.C., provides high-quality, objective, analytical support to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in the Executive Office of the President and other Federal Government organizations. Summer Associates will be expected to use their critical thinking and analytic skills to work on challenges in science and technology (S&T) policy areas, including energy and the environment, space sciences, innovation and competitiveness, evaluation, life sciences, information technologies, national security, and STEM education. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in S&T policy (however, previous policy experience is not required).

More information about the program can be found by visiting:
https://www.ida.org/en/CareersAtIDA/HRRelatedPages/SummerAssociates.aspx

The application can be found here: https://www.ida.org/CareersAtIDA/ExploreIDACareers/JobOpening.aspx with the job title “2016 Summer Associate Program”
