Office Hours Today

Hello Folks,

This afternoon's Office Hours will begin at the usual time (3 PM), but I'm going to leave 10 minutes early at 4:20 PM, so that I can enjoy your lovely skit. So if you have questions, make sure you bring them before 4:20 PM!

Sunday Office Hours moved to Monday 9-11am in 32-124

In light of the fact that HW10 is the last problem set and classes are almost over, the Sunday office hours will be held instead on Monday, 12/12 9-11am in 32-124 (Stata)

Jensen's Inequality and Rejection Sampling

Hello folks,

I just uploaded my portion of the notes from tonight's recitation. I also uploaded some Matlab code (we didn't have time for) that provides a nice visualization of rejection sampling applied to the last example on Monday's lecture.

TA's Final Review

The TAs will hold a review for the Final on Tuesday, December 13th 3-5pm in 66-110. We will prepare a summary document for the material covered in the last third of the course, but can address any topic from the course afterwards if required . Bring your questions!
