1. The 18.022 final exam will be held in the Du Pont Gym on Monday, Dec. 19, 9am-12pm.

Schedule for the rest of the term
Hi all,
Here is the schedule for the rest of the term.
1. Practice test goes online Sunday, December 11.
2. Solutions of the practice test go online Thursday Dec. 15, around 9am.
3. Special office hour Friday Dec 16, 7-9pm, Rm 2-449.
4. I am out of town Decmeber 12-15 but available over e-mail. I will not hold an office hour Tuesday, December 13.
5. Last lecture Tuesday December 13 will be delivered by Prof. Bjorn Poonen. (Topic: Maxwell equations of electromagnetism)
6. Exam Monday December 19, 9am-12pm. It will be closed book (same rules as the midterms) and cover the topics that appeared in the homework.

Hi all,
1. The solutions of the practice exam are posted.
2. Special office hours Wednesday Nov 9 have been extended: they will be held 7-9pm (not just 7-8pm) in 2-449.

exam 3
Hi all,
1. Midterm exam 3 will be held on Thursday, November 10, at 1.05-1.55pm in Walker 50-340. It covers the material starting with 3.1 and ending with Lagrange multipliers (4.3). We should finish covering this material Friday, Nov 4.
2. Special office hour for this exam is Wednesday, November 9, 7-8pm, Rm. 2-449.
3. The practice exam for midterm 3 is online. Solutions will be posted Tuesday, Nov 8, in the morning.
4. I will be away from Boston Friday, Nov 4 and Monday, Nov 7. Prof. Bjorn Poonen will fill in for me in the lecture Friday. My office hours Friday Nov 4 are cancelled.
