Course Evaluation

Dear all,

Just a reminder about the course evaluation questionnaire: if you haven't yet submitted your answers, please don't forget to do so (deadline is Nov 9th, 5pm). Undoubtedly things can be improved so it's important to have your opinion. Try to be fair and, above all, constructive.

On the subject of feedback, thank you also for the many messages you sent me throughout term through the 'rant form'; I tried to take all of the comments into considerations, as far as I could (or agreed with).

Breakfast, last recitation precision, last office hours

Hi class

I forgot to mention it for the n-th time in a row but ANS will serve you free-breakfast on Wednesday in 24-1st floor, around 8.30 am (exam at 9am).

For exercise 3, question b, please be aware that the matrix we settled for is not invertible, and so this wouldn't work for an implicit scheme.

Credits to Jee Hyun but I suggest you use ( -dt/dx +1, +dt/dx, 0 ......) for the system's matrix's first row.

I'll hold office hours at regular hours (2-5pm) tomorrow if you have more questions.
