Midterm scores posted
Dear Class,
Your individual midterm scores and the midterm solutions are now on Stellar. The average is 84.
We'll return the graded exam papers in recitations tomorrow (Friday) and at lecture Tuesday.
Here is a rough breakdown of the scores as letter grades:
80-100 A
65-80 B
50-65 C
< 50 <C
The midterm is 20% of the overall grade. The homework and final are each 40%. A low midterm grade will be weighted less if the rest of the course performance is high. Regular recitation attendance will be taken into consideration for improving low grades.
Come speak with me or the TAs if you have any questions. My office hours are Tuesdays 4:10 to 6 and by appointment.
