Pricing Projects and Next Steps

Dear Students,
We have very much enjoyed your pricing projects so far.

Many of you did projects which involved making a pricing recommendation to a real firm that had requested your help with pricing. I am carving out some time next week to allow people to get some "what next" feedback. So if you have lingering questions about the reliability of your pricing recommendations or are worrying about what you should do next, this is an opportunity to ask.

Logistics for Group Presentation Week

Hello Students,

I hope you are having a wonderful time taking surveys.

A few notes about logistics for our group presentation week:

1) Go to https://spreadsheets0.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?authkey=COqU_MwC&hl=en&key=tr66hOFqOa_WrRXzK-KkWSQ&hl=en&authkey=COqU_MwC#gid=1
and note what time and what room you are going to.

2) Make sure that you turn up promptly at the start of your hour slot (i.e. even if you are at 1:20pm you need to show up at 1pm) and stay for the full 40 minutes or so.

3) Be prepared to ask questions of your fellow presenters. They will really appreciate your insights. I am expecting that everyone will ask at least one question.

4) Email the presentation to myself and Cristina (cetucker@mit.edu and cnistor@mit.edu) the night before and we will load them onto the laptop. If you want to use Keynote, simply convert it to a PDF and we will display that.

5) Bring your "technical write-up" for me to your presentation .

6) Review again the document at http://stellar.mit.edu/S/course/15/sp11/15.818/courseMaterial/topics/topic1/resource/Guidance_for_Student_Pricing_Project_AM/Guidance_for_Student_Pricing_Project_AM.pdf
to obtain Guidance about the content of the presentation.

7)Try and all speak if you can, thought this is not mandatory.

8) If you need to swap your times it is your responsibility to make sure that any group who was originally in your time slot still has an audience,

I look forward to hearing all your presentations next week.

Best Wishes,
CT
